Our Leadership

Ministering Evangelist C. K. Stewart I, came to Indianapolis from Massachusetts, where he was born and raised.  He began his preaching ministry with the Church of Christ in Indianapolis August 1998.  After fourteen years of ministry development in Massachusetts, where he scripturally organized the church with elders and deacons he, his wife and five children relocated to our city.

Minister Stewart’s preaching career has expanded thirty years.  He has ministered the word throughout the Caribbean Islands, the Philippines, Malaysia and the New England states.  His major emphasis in ministry is practical theology and family development.  Prior to his conversion to Christ he was a licensed marriage and family therapist.  He has written articles for magazines on family life and continues to practice his trade as he ministers to the church.  He believes the Church of Christ will continue to grow while believers internalize the Lord’s perspective of work and service.  Fundamentally we are called to pursue the purposes of the church: Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, Minister/Service, and Fellowship as deemed by the Will of God.

Minister Stewart is a graduate of Oberlin College, Duquesne University, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, Sunset Biblical Institute and Theological University.  His desire has been to prepare himself to serve God and the Body of Christ with the best skills he can offer to help the people of God prosper in the work of the Kingdom.  His wife Malar and their five children and two grandchildren are the love of his life.
